Question : Hi , my son 11 years old has sore throats . Can I give him Lyzyme 30mg 1tablet 3times a day?

Hi,

Sore throat is usually viral but sometimes can be bacterial too.

Lyzyme has lyzozyme which has excellent anti microbial properties. It's very safe to be given.
There are trials which prove that it is safe.

You can give your kid safely three times daily for 3 days or so. But if sore throat worsens you may need antibiotics to treat .

Doing a throat swab will help to identify if it's bacterial in nature.
