Question: I have hepatitis a my hepatitis e IGM is negative however hepatitis e igg shows 3.5 does this mean i have hepatitis e as well

It means you have recent Hepatitis A infection and past Hepatitis E infection.

So you have only Hepatitis A and not Hepatitis E now.

Hi,
I went through all the three LFT reports.
It shows that you are recovering from hepatitis ( due to Hep A).
Your INR value of 1 is also within normal limits.

The itching may not be due to the liver disease . But still you can consider taking T. UDCA along with T.Silymarin. Discuss with your doctor about this.

Complete recovery may take 4- 8 weeks time.

You no longer need bed rest.
You can start working.
Rice based diet, fruit juices may be taken.

I have been resting for 3 weeks,my office is just 5km away,i have an absolute desk job,can i start working for 4-5 hrs a day from office, obviously all home food and boiled water i will consume.please advice.
