Question : I have a hard knot on my scalp. Could this be cancer. Do I need to see a doctor right away. i did not fall nor was i injured

Thank you for posting your query.

The common reasons for your scalp lesion could be an infection or a benign tumour.

The chance of it being cancer is very less.

You can get it examined by a doctor for confirmation of diagnosis, however, it is not an emergency.
