Brief Answer:
Penile implant procedure for ED

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX this side.
Welcome to ask a doctor.
Inflatable Penile Implant is made of silicone and other durable materials that the body does not reject.
There are hardly any problems or complications after penile implants.
Your penis will likely be swollen and bruised for 4-6 weeks post surgery.
You may have a tube to drain urine from your bladder for 24 hours post surgery.
The dressing is taken off 2-3 days after surgery. You might have some pain for up to next 3 weeks after surgery for which generally pain killers are prescribed.
You need to take antibiotics to prevent infection.
Your doctor will show you how to inflate the implant approximately 4 –6 weeks after surgery. It is important to inflate and deflate the device at least once a day, even when not being used for sexual activity.
Avoid strenuous activity and do not lift heavy weights.
Sexual relations can be resumed 4-8 weeks after surgery which might be a little painful at the start but some lubrication (i.e. K-Y Jelly and/or change of positions can help.
You need to see your Doctor if you are not able to pass urine, there is blood in urine, severe burning or pain while passing urine, increasing pain or swelling in abdomen, penis or scrotum, fever, redness or pus drainage from incision site, open skin on the penis where the implant comes out or if implant does not work properly.
From the history you gave,I think that your implant is working properly. There are no infection or inflating issues and you don't have any urinary complaints. You have got some swelling, which will go away with a period of time.
Kindly share when did your surgery was performed. You need to go for a follow up check after 3 to 4 weeks,if it is quite recent.
Happy living.
Regards.
