Brief Answer:
Baseline tests need to be done to reach a proper diagnosis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for choosing "Ask a Doctor" service for your query,
Very likely you are having either hemorrhoids or fissures as a result of chronic constipation.
The hard pebble of stool that passes through the rectal wall every day causes erosion of mucosa membrane which results in bleeding.
Rectal examination should be carried out properly.
Initially a proctoscopy should be done.In which rectal and anal canal would be inspected. Along with it a digital rectal examination should be done by a MD. If required a planned colonoscopy would be done.
These tests should be done to rule out these possibilities.
Treatment would be started thereafter.
Discuss the answer with your primary doctor.
Hope I was helpful,
Thanks
