Hi

Thanks for writing to health care magic

I will discuss various aspects of complaints you projected.

You are complaining of severe sweating in a room, which is not hot. Was a thyroid profile ever done for you? If so, please update me with the report.

You are complaining of tiredness, body aches etc. Can you update me if you have a hemoglobin level done. What I mean is Anemia could be a cause of constant tiredness.

You said your potassium levels are low with increased white blood count. Please update me with the report.

Since you are diagnosed of diverticulits that could explain the stomach pain that you are complaining of. During an attack of diverticulitis low fiber or liquid food is advised. Antibiotics are usually used. If you are not having any pain currently, a normal fiber diet is advised to prevent further development of diverticula. Antispasmodics are advised for the relief of pain caused by diverticulitis.

Since you have met so many doctors and none of them could come to a diagnosis I advise you to consult a psychiatrist to rule out any possible cause, which could result in multiple complaints given by you.

Hope this helps
Take care.

Hello to answer your questions in order here is the info you requested :

To be honest with you about the thyroid I do believe one has been done but I am not sure so I am going to post some blood work results from various times in my life and maybe you will be able to confirm:
April 2005-
WBC-- 18.7 MCV--91.9 MPV--8.5 EOS--0.1 GRAN K/uL--13.8
RBC-- 4.44 MCH-- 31.9 LYMPH--21.2 BASO--0.5 EOS K/uL--0.0
HGB-- 14.1 RDW--13.4 MONO--4.5 LYMPH K/uL--4.0 BASO K/uL--0.1
HCT-- 40.8 PLT-- 258 GRAN--73.7 MONO K/uL-- 0.8

Na (mmol/L) - 141 Cl (mmol/L)- 108 Glucose (mg/dL) -117 Creat(mg/dL)-1.0
K (mmol/L - 3.4 co2 (")--22.9 BUN- 15 Ca- 9.9
Anion Gap-14 BUN/Creat ration-- 15.0 Cal Osmo 28
Potassium-2.5

The diagnosis at the time was - Pancreatic- which was later ruled out. more recent blood work reads very similiar in nature:

May 2010-
WBC- 20.8 Platelet- 220 Potassium- 3.0 ALT-12
RBC- 4.40 Glucose- 93 Chloride- 106 Alkaline Phosphatase- 75
HGB- 14.0 BUN- 14 CO2- 21 Total Bilirubin- 0.5
Hct- 41 Creat- 0.6 Calcium- 9.5 Thyroxin- 9.1
MCV- 94 Sodium- 140 AST-14 T3 uptake- 30

Free Thyroxin Index- 2.7 TSH- 2.1 Phosphorus- 4.0 Magnesium- 2.1

The diagnosis -- Mild diverticulosis.

I don't at this time have copies of the blood work done this past Nov. but I did however get to look at them and they also read similiar in nature.
Yes , I have seen many psychiatrist and have been diagnosed with ptsd, manic depressive, so do believe that some of these aches is a result of depression developed over the yrs. However, have been informed that it wouldn't cause some of the symptoms in which I present such as bone and muscle loss which I have been tested for Lupis it was negative. At age 26, I was informed I had 60% bone lost in my jaw and teeth area, when I had went to see a dentist. He then referred me to LSU for further testing. They checked me for Lupis and sent me home.

And yes the diverticulitis hurts , but I have had stomach cramps itself since I was 13, but didn't get really really bad to where it kept me in hospital all yr off and on til i was 18, after giving birth to my son. And with all the scopes and surgeries over the yrs would assume if i had it all this time I would have been told. Is it possible I had and this is just the end result? Can so many doctors miss it, for so long? I don't know what made me sick in the beginning ,but I am now 37 and instead of getting better I am getting weaker sicker and smaller in size both height and weight.
The severe night and day sweats (if i nap in the daytime) started within the 4-5 yrs but didnt get to the pt of serious concern until the last 6 mnths or so. These were the original symptoms I went to the doctors in XXXXXXX Ms for when I was 13.
(hurt all over mostly in stomach, and back. stay weak , tired all the time. no energy at all) Over the yrs it hasn't changed any only weaker and less energy. and more pain. The constant nausea came when i got pregnant and never left, about 6 months after my son was born everything i put in my mouth started coming back up even water, and that hasnt changed for the most part either. I hope none of this makes you think I got upset over the psychiatrist , I didn't. I had pursued that and still am, cause I don't know where else to look. Thank you for taking the time to look at my case.
oh 6 months ago is when they told me the diverticulitis had gotten worse and also I usually take antibiotics about 3-4 times a yr.
Also, I have copies of blood work for every year since 1995 til 2010 just stopped getting them but if you need any of those posted as well please let me know and I will be happy to do so.
sorry about all these after thoughts hope the more info i give the better you can understand and help.. but my problems got so severe health wise that i lost custody of my son when i was 18 due to passing out from blood loss and severe cramping until I could get the hysterectomy that I needed at 17 done, I couldn't find a doctor who would do it for me at my age. I passed out in town with my son lost alot of blood and with no family led to that.. I do have the papers from the judge who ordered me to get one done, and get a clean XXXXXXX of health before they would return him to me. I got that surgery in Oct. 95., but never got a clean XXXXXXX of health, bc my symptoms never stopped.my concern over the night sweats tho and the reason i contacted you is bc of how bad they have become. everytime i sleep now day or night i am drenched as tho i have taken a dip in a pool like the other symptoms this appears to be getting worse, also. I have tried to talk to my doctor about them but bc of the hysterectomy he wont talk to me he says maybe hormone related, but won't check, and for the some unknown strange reason, refuse to put me back on them to even see if it would help me. I have not taken any hormones since a yr after my hysterectomy they took me off , bc my body wasn't absorbing them., and have been unable to get a dr. to put me back on them or tell me why they won't.and no I don't do drugs, nor do I drink. I am not on any narcotic prescription drug of any kind not even a pain pill.
Kindest Regards,

Hello

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

I understand the severity of the problems you are going through.

I also appreciate the effort to type in all the reports and update me of the same.

The previous reports that you uploaded are quiet old. Its already 8 years since the first reports that belong to 2005 and 3 years since the second reports that belong to 2010. It would be unfair if i comment on those reports and attribute them to your present condition.

Request you to upload the latest reports so that i can comment on them.

Drenching with sweat the way you are explaining is not normal and your complaints should not be ignored. Detailed examination and investigations are required.

If the physical examination and investigations (including a latest thyroid profile) are normal then you should consult a psychiatrist to rule out Anxiety associated psychiatric illnesses as a cause of your problem.

Mean while (while you get all those done) i suggest you to make some life style changes that could be of some help to you.
Have a positive attitude towards life. It is difficult in such tough scenarios to have a positive attitude. But have brave and fighting attitude. Say to yourself I will try and come out of all these.
Get busy with some thing (what ever you can do comfortably)
Do some exercises.....may be a walk
Relaxation exercises like Yoga, breathing exercise, listening to music, playing with children etc. would help
Pray God.
Look at the positive things in life.

Hope this helps you
Wishing you a speedy recovery and i pray God for the same.

Take care

Thank you, and yes I am glad you did pick up on the fact it does bother me. I am going to check into the anxiety thing u mentioned, for it does sound to me like it could be a big source of my more recent symptoms. I checked into the "its all in ur head bit" , but maybe not the mental stress and anxiety these health issues might be causing. It gives me a place to look, and for that I am grateful. In regards to my recent blood work I am do for another workup this week, I can grab last nov. and these and report them to you, or if you like check into the advice you have given me first and see if that helps. If the night sweats are related to mental then I can at least get relief from those. Let me know for I would be happy to both.
Thanks XXXXXXX
