Since you are a known asthmatic first thing that comes to my mind is acute exacerbation of your bronchial asthma. Do you have any wheezing or rapid breathing? XXXXXXX color of the sputum may be indicative of bacterial infection.

Tiredness and drowsiness you are facing could be because of decreased oxygen levels of the body and indicate that you should get urgent medical attention.

We treat severe episodes of asthma exacerbation with broncho dilator nebulisations, oxygen etc.
