Question : I have an enlarged node 15 mm in the portahepatis region short axis what could be the cause and what are the outcomes

I understand your concern.
Do not panic.
Please review the pic u have sent me.It does not sow anything.
An enlarged porta hepatis lymphadenopathy maybe infective in origin...usually found in Chronic hep b ,Hep c infection.But gut infections can also cause hepatic lymphadenopathy.
I could help you better if you can tell me the reason why an ultrasound was done.
Consult your gastroenterologist if the problem persists
