default
Posted on Sun, 13 Oct 2013
Question: Hi, I have a blood test that shows low % (37%) of Neutrophils and high % of Lymphs (54). The absolute values are all in reference range - WBC = 5.4, Neutrophils = 2.0, Lymphs = 2.9. Should I be concerned? Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Nonneed to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.

I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.

As long as your total wbc count is normal which is. 5.4 in your case, you need not bother about the percentages. Percentages are useful only if the wbc count is increased. Your report is quite normal and there is nothing to worry about.

Hope I am able to answer your concerns.

If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.

If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer for me, so that I get a good feedback.
