Question : will clortrimazole interfere with warfarin? Does it make the blood thinner?
Hi and welcome to XXXXXXX
Clotrimazole cream is safe, but oral clotrimazole may increase the action of warfarin , increasing the risk of bleeding. This should be taken only if there is no alternative and during this treatment, frequent INR check should be done and warfarin dose should be regulated depending on it. Wish you good health. Regards
