                                            Thank you for the query.
Inner side of a thigh is were the saphenous vein is located. It starts in the inside of foot, goes up along the inside of calf, thigh and ends in the groin. Such vein if inefficient, becomes dilated and varicose veins are being created. And most likely what you are able to palpate is such varicose vein. Usually it is painless, more visible while standing, and the pain can be present in any area of saphenous vein location.
The best way to have it diagnosed is to have Doppler ultrasound performed of this leg. Even if it is something else than varicose vein (like lipoma for example), ultrasound will tell.
If saphenous vein is inefficient, should be removed with surgery.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
