Question : numbness and cold feelinin fingers and toes
Brief Answer:
Possible neuropathy
Detailed Answer:
People with diabetes get nerve problems called neuropathy. However before ascribing this to diabetes, other potential causes need to be ruled out such like EMG/NCV/NCS to determine objectively if neuropathy is present. However these are not absolutely necessary and good physical examination can suffice. Sometimes people who have poor circulation to the legs can cause cold sensation in the feet. There is a test to look for that; it is called bilateral lower limb arterial doppler.
