Pain in the side of your body can be due to musculoskeletal cause.
Diseases of the lung(Consolidation) and pleura(Pleural effusion) can also cause pain in that area.It can be determined by X XXXXXXX chest-PA view.If it is inconclusive on x XXXXXXX get a CT scan of chest.
Symptoms like productive cough,difficulty in breathing suggest lung disease.
Please consult a chest physician and proceed.
