Have Severe Acidity Problem. Blood Cells Detected In Urine Analysis. Is This Serious?

Question: I had under gone an annual health check up. And following abnormal values were observed.

Platelet count : 113 thou/microL

Mean Platelet volume: 13.4 fl

Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST/SGOT): 45 U/L

Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT/SGPT): 90 U/L

Cholesterol: 193

Triglycerides : 209 mg/dL

Cholesterol HDL : 34 mg/dL

Very Low density Lipoprotein: 41.8 mg/dL



In Urinalysis Blood detected(trace). Red Blood cells 1-2 /HPF



Is there something serious? Please suggest how to address these issues.

I also have severe acidity problem.

Thanks for the query .
I would be pleased to answer your query posted.

Your platelets are low , your liver enzymes and lipid profile is high .
I would suggest that you would need to get your liver sonography done to rule out fatty liver .
The liver enzymes and the lipid profile can be normalized with regular excercise , intake of statins and fribrate group of medications and Vitamin E intake which you can get as a prescription from your Doctor / Physician .
Your acidity will also need to be treated by Proton pump inhibitor group of medications .
Weight reduction will help in reducing these issues .
