Question : I have a small lump halfway between by genitals and my leg. On first discovery it was pus filled but after one day it was solid. It is neither itchy or sore and is not visible ( can only be felt under the skin). Any idea what it might be?

                                    Hi
As per your query,it could be infected sebaceous cyst.It occurs due to collection beneath the hair follicle. It gets infected sometimes.
Once the pus is let out,the cystic contents will be felt as solid mass.
It is better to get it excised as it may grow sometimes and become painful.
Wish you good health
Regards

It's been like this for one week - will it go away without medical attention? Anything else that would cause these symptons?

                                    Hi
There are many swellings which occur in various parts of the body.
Unless it is seen and palpated,we cannot confirm the disease.
Only swellings related to infection and inflammation will subside with medicines.
Some swellings like lipoma, sebaceous cyst etc have to be removed surgically.
As your swelling is small, consult your surgeon and get it removed.
Wish you good health
