1 pill take to how many hours deep sleep.

First I want to clear your misconception that alprazolam is primarily for deep sleep.
Primarily,it is an anxiolytic and and used in anxiety and panic disorders.
Its intake reduces anxiety and so person becomes calm and he/she can sleep.
Sedation is its side effect and is due to its overdose.
Its effects starts within one hour and can last up to 7 hrs to 24 hours depending upon person to person.
Dear, it is a habit forming drug, So it shouldn't be taken indiscriminately.
It shouldn't be taken for long time and shouldn't be abruptly stopped. Abrupt stoppage may precipitate seizure, body shaking, headache etc.
So, better you should consult your doctor for your problem.
