Question : Hi I'm 34 and had my tubes tied 4 years ago and now i would like one more child...how much does the reversal cost in australia? I don't have insurance or anything like that. Thanks in advance:)

Tubal reversal is an expensive procedure. It can cost you around 15 thousand dollars for the surgery, along with anesthesia and hospital fees and the cost of fertility tests required before the procedure .
In general, good candidates for tubal reversal are women who had only small parts of their fallopian tubes removed, or whose tubes were closed using rings or clips. Some surgeons say the best candidates for tubal reversal are women younger than age 40 who had sterilization surgery immediately following childbirth, a procedure called postpartum tubal ligation.
The chances of pregnancy in the first year after the reversal procedure vary between 45-60%.
