Question: is it safe for someone with afib to get a massage? this is a general question regarding contraindications for massage.

Well there is no correlation between Massage and Atrial Fibrillation.

As you know, Atrial Fibrillation is a condition where there is rapid and irregular heart rate. Massage is not going to affect the heart rhythm.

Its more relevant to know if your heart rate is well controlled or not and whats your functional status..
If you are able to do your normal activities at home without any symptoms, there is no problem with getting a massage
