Question : What are the symptoms of 3rd degree kidney failure? Have been complaining of back pain for some time. Was dx'd so 4 yrs ago as being in stage 3

Anaemia,fatgue are common in stage3.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
In stage 3 kidney failure,anaemia and fatigue are more common.Fluid retention can cause edema of feet and legs.Blood pressure will be increased.Urinary frequency,urgency and burning micturition will also occur.
Because of anemia and fatigue ,you might have experienced back pain.
But,location of kidney is also in the back.Get a ultrasound scan of the abdomen to know the status of kidneys,blood urea and serum creatinine tests to know the function.Get Haemoglobin tested too.
IF you come back with above reports,i will clarify further.
Till then,you can use plain paracetamol tablet.
