Question : Having headaches for 2 weeks with dizziness and pounding heartbeat. Sometimes with tingling in fingers. Also having tinnitus that has recently become very loud and non stop.

I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms could be related to blood pressure fluctuations.

Have you measured blood pressure values during those episodes of headaches?

Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical and some tests:

- a resting ECG
- complete blood count for anaemia
- thyroid hormone levels for thyroid dysfunction
- blood electrolytes for possible imbalances.

A brain MRI may be needed in case all the above tests result normal and there are no fluctuations in blood pressure values.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.
