Definitely you should undergo full check up after getting irregular periods. There are many causes of irregular periods like pregnancy, excessive weight gain, excessive weight loss (anorexia nervosa), stress, anxiety, PCOS, Thyroid disorder, etc.

First thing to do is get pregnancy test done with test kit available at pharmacy. If it comes negative, then let me know irregularity of your periods & length of your cycle.
