Hi and thanks for the query,
Night sweats and feeling hot (fever) deserve a keen evaluation. Infectious causes and also tumoral causes should be evaluated. Diseases like Tuberculosis other virus should be evaluated.
Its very necessary to exclude tumours. A complete physical evaluation, chest X XXXXXXX complete blood count and markers of inflammation are very necessary to exclude the possibility of a cancer. Lymphomas commonly have such presentations.
I would suggest you consult your internist for a proper evaluation. An early and appropriate diagnosis improves treatment outcomes.
Its not certain that it must be a cancer or tumour. It could be infections easily managed with antibiotics. I humbly consult our doctor for exact diagnosis.
wishing you good health.
Best regards,
Luchuo, MD.
