Question : I have a very painful lump in left rib at the bottom rib, it hurts all the time, when I eat it hurts, sitting, walking etc and shooting pains all in left side it's awful

Do you have any fever?
Since how long it is there?
Is the problem aggravating day by day?
Is there any weight loss?
Is the mass bony in nature (hard)?
Get a physical examination by your doctor and get yourself investigated to identify the exact cause.

I suggest you to not to neglect the same.

I request you to not to go for a guess work. Just wait for the investigation reports and depending on the X XXXXXXX findings your doctor may order further investigations like biopsy.
