Having Severe Pain And Numbness In Legs. MRI Done. What Is The Cause And Cure?

Question: hi, i'm having severe pain and numbness in bil legs mri not bad but the emg came back with neuropathy. what do you think ?
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
Neuropathy suggests involvement of nerves in the feet and legs. Now, we need to find out the underlying cause of neuropathy. In the absence of diabetes, the causes to be excluded are collagen vascular disease, vasculitis, etc. This would require investigations such as vitamin B12 level, Anti nuclear antibody and nerve biopsy in some cases.
As of now, you can take pregabalin capsules for relief of symptoms.
I hope it helps. Please get back if you have any more queries.
