                                    Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing in.
The symptoms your husband is having are a little disconcerting and require a detailed evaluation by a physician or an orthopaedician. I would suggest the following tests
1) Calcium, phosphorus, alkaline phosphatase, albumin- in the blood
2) A detailed typing of anaemia- you could scan and send me the reports of blood work. You have a feature to upload the reports / image by yourself at the right side of the query page, please utilize that so that I can answer your queries better.
3) A serum electrophoresis - to look for multiple myeloma
An enlarged prostate is fairly common at his age but it does not account for the bone pains he has been having.
Please do write back to me with the reports.
