Question : severe stabbing pain in right buttocks. also big big black and blue XXXXXXX can barely walk. Feels swollen when i sit, pain is worst when sitting directly on it. had for several days. had some trigger point injections to relieve the pain but it has been getting worse

I would like to know more information about the pain.
- How the pain started? Was there any injury to the part?
When did you notice the mark?

Your description suggests a haematoma collection under the subcutaneous tissue. Traumatic Muscle spasm and sometimes the hip joint or nerve compression in spine can give rise to similar pain. X-ray of the hip and lumbar spine can be useful. You may consult an orthopedic nearby and get the X-rays done.

Meantime you can start anti inflammatory with muscle relaxant and local antiinflammatory application at pain site.
