Question : 27 year old female woke up with severe throat and back(lungs?) pain, aches all over body, especially joints, no stomach problems, but cant swallow, can barely walk, dizzy, legs and feet sore, muscles tender. Had milder case yesterday, then got better last night, and now much worse. Very sever pain.

Hi,
The sudden appearance of symptoms spread across multiple areas are most likely due to an infection. The symptoms represent classical features of upper respiratory infection with prodromol symptoms. 1. Advil 200mg twice a day after food for the next 2-3 days. This should take care of all the body pains
2. Betadine gargles - betadine gargling solution mixed with XXXXXXX warm water - thrice a day
3. Zinc containing multivitamin to take care of infection associated weakness and nutritional deficiency.
4. Mucaine gel antacid before food thrice for 3-5 days
5. Adequate rest
6. Plenty of fluids and healthy fruits and vegetables.
Symptoms warrant medical attention if this patient develops fever or if the pain is very severe and not relieved with advil or if the symptoms resolve in the next 5 days.
