Walking pneumonia is nothing but a kind of mild pneumonia.
It is caused by lung infection from a bacterial microorganism called Mycoplasma pneumoniae.
It is more contagious and it can occur at any age.
The symptoms are mild flu like symptoms like fever, headache, chills.

Unlike other kinds of pneumonia, it does not cause very difficulty in breathing as you have now.
Mostly it does not need any hospitalization.
It can be treated with antibiotics.

Hope this helps.
Please reply if have any queries.
Wishing you a good health.
