Question : Hi! I am having UPPER back pain on the left and right sides of my middle back. It sometimes takes my breath away.

Thanks for your query.
Pain in the spine at your age could be due to low calcium or scoliosis (fusion of the vertebrae). The treatment for both differs, hence there would be a need for an MRI scan to identify the exact cause so as to plan a suitable treatment.
Meanwhile do apply DICLOFENAC gel to get rid of the pain and also do wear a Lumbosacral belt to immobilize the spine which helps in healing.
