                                            Question : Hello Doctor.
I am due to get a upper and lower Endoscopy today in a couple of hours.
I have two questions:
1. they said my stools should be clear yellow after prep yesterday and it is yellow but a tad cloudy is more prep needed?
2. My anus is quite sore from wiping so much yesterday and during the night. Can the doctor still perform the colonoscopy? I have used Prep H to ease the burning feeling but it is still there.
I appreciate your quick response so I know whether to do an enema or not beforehand.
Thanks you and Regards

                                    Brief Answer:
Just drink water.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
1.I don't think you may need more laxatives or enema since the color of your stools is pale yellow and cloudy. I think you just need to drink 8 ounces of water since you are hours before colonoscopy.
2. You can use baby daipper rash cream to ease anus pain.
Remember to take a big daipper with you. For sure he will perform colonoscopy to you.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
