For last 1 week I am feeling difficulty in walking. I feel cannot stop while walking and keep walking in room. I frequently go to washroom but can not pass urine so come back to my seat. At least 20 to 30 times I am visiting washroom in a day. Sometimes I feel to stand up or start walking as well. I feel very awkward about this problems. In past I tried some sleeping pills as well. On various occassions I feel that my tongue has stuck in side my mouth and I am unable to speak and sometimes I feel that my jaw is locked. Please guide me how can I come out of it?

Brief Answer:
This is happening due to depression

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for using ask a doctor service

I can understand your problem. I am sorry for your brother.
Since when you have these symptoms?

If the symptoms developed after the diagnosis of brain cancer in your brother then most likely these are due to severe anxiety and depression because of trauma due to his illness. It’s normal to feel bad and depressed in such situation.

Repeated urge to go to washroom, feeling as if tongue is stuck in mouth, restlessness are most likely due to severe anxiety. Negativity, low mood, lack of interest in anything are part of depression. If you are feeling bad and these symptoms are hampering your day to day routine then please visit a psychiatrist for help.

Drugs like Escitalopram or Paroxetine can be used for proper treatment. This will help to boost your mood, will reduce anxiety and you will feel better. This will help you to stay strong in severe stress. You can talk with your doctor for proper prescription.

Thanks
