Question : Hello Doctor, I have the pimples,scars and marks on back and both the shoulders.I have attached the picture too. Could you please suggest what treatment would help me minimize or get rid of this. Thank you.

Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and noted your concern.

You seem to have inflammatory acne. I would suggest oral Doxycycline 100mg, twice daily for 6- 8 weeks. Topically you may use Benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel daytime. At night you may use Adapalene and clindamycin combination gel. These are prescription medication and should be used under supervision and guidance of your local doctor. Treatment of acne takes time. You may need to continue treatment for a few months.
