Question : Hello Doctor,
My name is Mubarak, 23, I am of AC genotype and blood group O+ while my fiance is of AS genotype. Please what are the chances possible for us to marry because we are planning to settle down by 2021.

There is 25% risk of sickle cell disease.
If individuals with AC and AS genotype combine will produce AA, AS, AC, SC, the sickle cell disease will be. So there is one in fourth risk of SC ( sickle cell).
