Brief Answer:
Improved nutrition and sleep...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concern. Lack of sleep will cause weakness and fatigue. Besides, lactating mother needs calorie rich diet to keep optimum energy levels. Perhaps these are two probable reasons for her feeling weak.

Throat bitterness do not have specific causes. It may be related to inadequate fluid intake or stress induced acid reflux. I hope she is not running fever or have other symptoms such as headache and body ache.

Currently as the baby needs to be fed every 2 hours, it is important that she sleeps as and when possible. In a month or two, baby's sleep pattern and duration would stabilize / increase. She will be able to have better sleep.
Besides this, it is important that she has adequate diet consisting of improved calories and proteins. Check for good diet needed during lactation. Make sure she drinks enough fluids. Seek help of her obstetrician whenever feasible.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Brief Answer:
I would recommend talking to a dietician...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Her diet should constitute 2 glass of milk / milk products like butter milk. She should have nuts and fresh fruits. There should be added roti or rice with fiber rich vegetables. Meat, fish and egg (if she is a non vegetarian) should be part of her daily if not every alternate day regime.

You can consult a dietician either through dietary call or through Ask A dietician option and take a personalied diet chart for her needs.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards
