Question : Hello Dr. Bhatti,
This is a follow-up to your email message asking me how I am doing? Per our conversation on 8/14/2019-8/16/2019, I bought the Candid mouth paint and have been using it twice daily for about three days now. I haven't been scraping my tongue and may see a very small improvement in the thickness of the hairy tongue on the edges of my tongue. My taste hasn't gotten any better and has been worse the last few days. Could the Candid mouth paint be causing my taste to get worse? This has been very long and drawn out and getting to the point I'm not sure when or if the end of this will come.
Any other suggestions for treatment or a different type of specialist I might need to consult would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for following up.

1. Candid mouth paint will require 2-3 weeks to of use to get results.

2. There will be a slight alteration of taste but it will be temporary.

3. The underlying condition is self limiting and you will recover.

4. At present there is no need for any specialist consultation.
