Question : Hello, I accidentally took two birth control pills in one day (microgestin). That was last week Monday. I continued taking the pills everyday as normal and did not skip a day, but since last week Tuesday I have been getting debilitating heart burn. Is the heart burn connected to taking the two pills in one day by accident? Should I skip a day to get back on track? The receptionist at my doctor's office said to skip a day, but I didn't listen to her because I read an article online that said never to skip a day of birth control pills. I started taking Prilosec for my heartburn because it got so bad. Please help.
