Question : Hello I am Dziugas 19 year old male. I woke up today to ringing in my left side ear. About 3 hours have passed and i still have ringing in my ear when i put my finger in my ear to see if i can still hear it. When both ears are listening it feels like my left ear is stuffed and is not hearing to its full potential. Nothing like this has happened before and no past relatives had this happen to them. I dont take any medication

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I think your ear canal is possibly blocked due to wax and water. When some water is trapped in ear and wax is present and more if you use cotton swaps to remove it it can be cause inflammation.
I think you may need to go to ENT doctor to clean it. Also if you have pain and inflammation ear drops may be needed.
