                                            Question : Hello,
I am a 67 yo male 6'1/185 in fairly good health, and went to MD three days ago to check out complaints of low abdominal stomach cramps that come- and- go, slight nausea, loss of appetite, and right side pain. Also have some slight pressure on inside of tip of penis. I also have fatigue and some level of anxiety.
Blood and urine panels all reveal normal ranges especially those related to kidney and urological functions. The only one outside of normal was Bilirubin which came in at a 2. Some other related ones came in at the highest normal range rates.
I still am experiencing these symptoms, and appreciate any insight or advice you may provide.
Thank you

                                    Brief Answer:
Probably a gastrointestinal infection, follow the advice below
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Your symptoms seem to be related to a gastrointestinal infection.
I recommend using Buscopan 10 mg three tablets a day for the abdominal cramps.
I also recommend to use daily probiotics.
I suggest to drink liquids and eat a plain diet with rice, bananas, tost and apple juice.
The elevated bilirubin level is related to an inflammation of the liver.
I recommend to do an abdominal ultrasound and liver enzymes for further evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
