Hello
Welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query.
I understand your concern.
SInce you said you are a liver patient its important for me to know what kind of liver disease are you suffering.
You need to be careful of any events happening to you in the setting of liver disease so worthwhile getting basic test like cbc lft and kft (kidney function test) also an urine routine too.
also keep a tab on your temperature thice days in case you develop fever or worsening of symptoms visit your doctor at earliest.
Taking adequate physical rest and mental relaxation is also very important.
Hope this answers your query.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
Happy to help.

Hello,

Thank you for your query.

You need to be mentally relaxed. A stressed mind can cause lack of energy. Ensure 3 to 4 stools per day by using duphalac 15ml twice a day. The dose can be titrated to cause three to four stools per day.

Also can try taking hepamerz XXXXXXX 5 gm thrice a day for 3 weeks provided your creatinine is normal; all this will help to reduce toxin levels in body and reduce anxiety / depressive symptoms.
Also take a course of rifagut 550 mg twice a day for 3 weeks and see how you feel.
In case symptoms persist worthwhile seeing a gastroenterologist.
Best wishes.

Hi,
Thank you for the query.

Don't stop your doctor's medications.
Duphalac and Lactihep are the same, you can continue Lactihep only then.

Additionally, you can add Hepamerz and Rifagut and see how you feel.
Worthwhile getting a vitamin D and B-12 assay to done once.

Best wishes

Detailed Answer:

well thats a difficult question to answer on line.
Need to know the exact cause of liver disease and about your other issues like impotency or low sperm count. Also if your liver problem will affect your child or no depends upon the exact cause of liver disease, some of them like wilsons disease are known to be hereditary. consult your gastroenterologist about this.
best wishes
