Question : Hello! I am sindhuja ,recently got a general health check up done and my triglycerides are -12 and VLDL -2.4 and Tgl/HDL ratio is -0.3 .I was wondering what does low levels of cholesterol indicate and can it be some underlying conditon .

Extremely low cholesterol and triglycerides is extremely rare we have to repeat he tests to confirm that the lab results are not wrong.
If the repeat blood test also shows very low values,rare genetic conditions like abetalipopritenemia and adrenal insufficiency must be ruled out.
