Question : Hello, I fell 10 days ago while walking, fell quickly and hard onto cement with my right side chest absorbing hit. Very sore since with significant improvement last few days. Difficult mainly in getting in and out of bed and finding comfortable sleep position; for a few days felt Pain & weakness on full inhaling. That seems better now.
Any thoughts or recommendation appreciated

I read your query and here is my advice.

The worst thing that could have happened is broken rib which may be causing the pain. An x-ray at the moment can show it.
You should have used ice compresses and rest. Also you should have used antinflamatory drugs such advil or acetaminophen for pain. Also diclofenac gel may be used to reduce pain and inflammation. You still may use antinflamatory drugs such advil. Nothing else should be done.
