Hello, I Had A ENT Appointment On XXXXXXX 30th 2020,

Question: Hello, I had a ENT appointment on XXXXXXX 30th 2020, to check my throat from some previous issues from a bout of Bronchitis. The Dr. Performed what I think was a Nasal Endoscopy (camera thin tube from nose down to throat) to check for anything and he indicated all clear. Since then, I had some Sinus issues (congestion) and after some Nasal Steroids and Saline Spray, are feeling much better. now though, I have noticed a slight change in my voice, and have a on / off tickle cough. Not sure if it is environmental or the season, that said, I am wondering if Throat Cancer can occur that fast after a XXXXXXX 30th Test of being cleat in my throat. Also, not sure if this applies, but I had a Lymph Node Exam performed by another doctor in Mid March, which was quite hard on my neck.
Brief Answer:
This is unlikely to be cancer.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. Your medication would be expected to cause a temporary mild post nasal drip of mucus from your nose and sinuses as they get cleared of retained secretions.
2. Allergy tests should be done and anti-allergy medication along with a medicated oral rinse will help.
3. This is unlikely to be cancer. The details of the lymph node examination are not clear from your description. I recommend a follow up endoscopy if your doctors have any doubt.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.
Regards.

This is my second attempt at a follow up question.
Dr. Bhatti, the Lymph Nodes Exam which was done in March, was quite physical on my neck, and it was all clear, but, do to the force of the exam, it did hurt, so wondered if that could impact the voice box, etc.
I did 2 Endoscopy's (Oct 19 and XXXXXXX 30) and both were clear. I did have a bout of Bronchitis in Mid XXXXXXX which prompted me to do the Endoscopy.
I was told that in order for Throat Cancer to appear, it would take some time as it is a slow developing Cancer. Was told 2-3 years.
As I suffer from Anxiety, I just wanted to inquire.

Details as discussed below:
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for following up.
1. If the lymph nodes in the neck are smaller than 8-10 mm, they are to be ignored ( not considered significant).
2. A throat cancer will not lie dormant without symptoms for long. Your endoscopies are normal. Therefore there is no cause for worry.
3. The external neck exam cannot cause internal injury.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.
