Question : Hello
I had a sexual encounter 2 months ago.
I was treated with a shot of ceohaloxone and dioxcyclin for 10 days I finished after 7 because of bad side effects.
Epidydimitis came back I was treated with shot of ceoholxone and levaquin for 14 days.symptoms came back.i was treated with azithromycin 1g felt better came back.went to different dr got a shot of cepholoxone and azithromycin again
A week later.was that a mistake taking azithromycin again so soon ?

Follow up: Dr. salah saad shoman (13 minutes later)

symptoms came back.went to different dr was given another shot and axithromycin ahain.is it ok i had azithromycin ahain 1 week apart ?

Dear sir, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but it is recommended that after discontinuing a certain class of antibiotics that it should not be repeated for another 3 months if possible to avoid the development of resistant strains of bacteria.
