To answer your questions:
1- I am 52 years old
2- periods are irregular without much bleeding anymore, more light brown discharge and last 2-4 days
3- blood pressure runs around 136/80's, not diabetic, no known thyroid issues
thank you for your continued help,
Keep watch with USG. Or other medical options.
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Thanks for appreciating my answer and reverting back.
I have gone through your reply.
As far as your menstrual bleeding pattern is considered, I would like to suggest you have a sonography follow up after 3 months.
Fibroids shrink in size after menopause in the case of most women.
Secondly, other medical options available:
Nowadays that can avoid surgery, are as follows.
1. Tablet Mifepristone 25 mg daily for 4 months
2. Tablet Ulipristal 5 mg daily for 4 months.
3. An intrauterine device containing Levonorgestrel once inserted works over a period of 5 years.
If you don't have any menstrual bleeding related issues or any urinary or bowel pressure symptoms then you can simply keep watch on fibroids with serial sonography reports.
Else you can opt for the above-mentioned options after discussing with your treating gynecologist.
I hope this answer helps you.
Please feel free to communicate with me again.
Thanks.

A close watch on cervical fibroids.
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Thanks for your appreciation of my reply.
You have mentioned about the fibroid in the cervical area, in my opinion fibroids in this area are rare and should be watched for increase in the size.
Also, if you come across any urination related problems, please get back to your treating gynecologist.
Otherwise, you can opt for the previously suggested options.
Please feel free to communicate with me again.
I hope this answer helps you.
May I request you to take some time to rate the answers and leave a feedback as to usefulness of our discussion.
Thanks.
