Question : Hello, I have HPV genital warts, I was prescribed 2 rounds of wart remover by a family doctor 2 of the warts went away with new problem. I have 1 wart that will not go away, I went through both rounds of prescription wart remover and also order genital wart remover off of the internet, after many, many applications the wart will not go away, also I discovered another small wart last night. My question is, can a doctor remove these warts by freezing them like planters warts are treated? is it common for dermatologists to remove/treat genital warts? I am open and desperate for any suggestions and help with this embarrassing issue. Thank you very much.

I have gone through your query and yes you can consult a dermatologist and get them removed by either cryotherapy or electrocautery.
Both are minor office procedures requiring few minutes.
Dermatologists are very well acquainted in dealing with warts and your problem should be solved.
