Brief Answer:
Don't take it all year.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
You may need to take vitamin D according to your deficiency.
If you have deficiency you may need treatment for 6-12 weeks and the levels will get back to normal.
There is no need to take it all the year.
Taking vitamin D all year is not recommended, better to take treatment in Winter and stop it in summer.
Hope I have answered the question.
