Question : Hello, I have been having some health issues lately and have a few questions. i went to the ER as my blood pressure was pretty high and heart rate was fast and I just was not feeling right. They found a 4 cm small asending aortic aneurysm and a mass on my breast. They wanted me to f/u with cardiology and do a mammo, ect. I went to the cardiologist and he was not to concerned over the the aorta but has scheduled me for an echo in XXXXXXX He did want to see if he could find the cause of what is causing the high bp and heart rate (resting 110) so he did a 24 hour urine test to check my adrenal gland. Those tests came back with a high Normetanephrine u,24h*-LC: of 598 mcg and Normetanephrine, Ur-LC 826 mcg Metanand he stated we a little high but not horrible and with the looks of this he wants me to see a Ecrinologist. They can't get me in till end of December but will out me on a waiting list. Do you think this is anything to be concerned on with having to wait till Dec or should I try to see if I can get into a different clinic? I really dont know what these tests mean as he had a nurse call me and they do not specialize in this stuff. I feel I am a bit concerned though as waiting 7 months to get my hear rate and bp under control seems a bit much.

About adrenal hormones results;

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
I have gone carefully through your concern.
The results of the hormones you described are not very clear ( normetanephrines are mentioned 2 times) and i can not understand what you mean with Metanand.
Would you please attach a photo of the results?
Looking forward to help you further.
Best Wishes,

Brief Answer:
About the results attached;

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
They are still the same results, without reference ranges. They are very important to know which of the results are out of range.
Please try to find the results with the reference ranges, otherwise i will interpret them having into consideration the international ranges.
Regards,
Dr.mirjeta
