                                    Brief Answer:
Probably the symptoms are related to side effects of cholesterol medication
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Your symptoms seem to be related to side effects of cholesterol medication.
Some of the common side effects of this medication are muscle damage and muscle pain.
This damage can be reversed if you discontinue the medication.
The symptoms should go away within days or weeks after the drug is stopped.
I also recommend to reduce saturated fats and increase the fiber rich foods.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
