I have dry cough from past two months and has been on medication for weeks.
From last three days i feel there is little discomfort at my left ribs and it hurts a little most of the times.
Do you think it relates to something serious?
It would be better to consult urgent medical care/chest physician
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your query and here is my advice.
As per your history, dry cough since two months with chest pain should be evaluated throughly.
Please let me know do you have fever, breathing difficulty, sweating, sore throat, acidity, loss of weight/appetite?
For further assessment, I would suggest you to consult with urgent medical care/chest physician for detailed clinical examination. He may procure complete hemogram, chest X Ray or computed tomography chest, electrocardiogram, sputum examination SOS as per evaluation to rule out any infection or cardiac pathology.
Mean while, for pain you can take tablet acetaminophen. Continue other medications as adviced. Avoid smoking if you have it. Avoid hot and spicy foods.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for reply. I have reviewed attached reports.
As per your attached reports, there is slightly increased bronchovascular markings on chest x ray which may indicate infection.
Complete hemogram is within normal limit. ESR is slightly increased which may indicates chronic infection.
Kindly do follow up with chest physician. He may procure computed tomography chest, sputum examination SOS. You may require antibiotics as per evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query.
