Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic,
The symptoms you are describing are mostly suggestive of gastroenteritis which is a self limiting infection of the intestine. This causes severe inflammationn in intestines causing nausea vomiting and loose motion. Most of the times the pathology is viral and it resolves itself in 5-7 days. However some times it's bacterial also.
Stool analysis and culture are required to confirm the diagnosis. If found positive for bacteria management is with antibiotics (usually a combination of Ciprofloxacin and Metronidazole) for which you will need a prescription. So please be advised to follow up with the urgent care.
Meanwhile, drink plenty of water and electrolyte containing drinks like Gatorade. Follow soft diet. BRAT (Banana, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast) diet will be easier on your tummy.
Take tablet seminthione and activated charcoal thrice to get relief from gas along with it take over the counter Omeprazole 40 mg.
Hope this answers your query
Please let me know if you need further clarification
Regards.
